Get your materials ready.

Like any candle project, get all of your supplies and materials ready before you start. A well organized workspace is a safe workspace.

The great thing about outdoor citronella candles is that you don't want them to burn well. You want them to smoke a bit. It helps the mosquito repelling effect. Also, you want a big melt pool to help disperse the essential oils. This is also a good project to use up wax scraps. Hopefully you've been recycling your wax scraps. Throw 'em in the melt pot and let's get started.
