Let's Make Some Easy Chunk Votives

Chunk Votive Setup

Chunk candles - whether you're making them in votives, pillars, or container - are fun and easy to make. Your imagination can run wild with different colors, over-pours, layerings, addtives and more.

For this project, we're going to make some simple chunk votive candles. To make them, you'll need:

Some chunks - (see How to Make Wax Chunks
A wax to pour over the chunks - I like IGI 1343 (straight paraffin) with 1 tsp. of Universal Additive added per pound of wax
An appropriate votive wick - I usually use a 44-24-18 zinc or an LX-10
Fragrance, if desired (I used Hollyberry from From Nature with Love)
Color, if desired
Basic candle making equipment
Basic understanding of Candle Making Safety
