I like the votive holders when they have the same number of layers all the way around the candle - that is, when the thickness of the beeswax is the same all the way around. Sometimes your lengths of beeswax, especially if you've added a second length, will give you extra thickness on one side. I just trim off a bit of the second length so that the end of the roll ends right where the beginning of the roll started.
