To properly burn a votive, we all know we need to place it in a votive holder. A votive is kind of a combination of a pillar candle and a container candle - it holds its shape when it's cool, but loses its shape when it melts.

Most of us choose the plain, clear-glass style of votive holders, but if you're looking for a great variation to traditional clear-glass votive holders, try creating the votive holder out of rolled beeswax.

You'll need to burn the candle on a plate - sort of like a mini-pillar candle - but the effect is really wonderful! And it couldn't be simpler - to make this project you'll just need:
