Make your soap batch as you normally would (basic soap making instructions).

Add your fragrance oil (and/or colorants) at very light trace and mix in your shreds.

Stir well to make sure that the shreds are completely incorporated and you've worked out as much of the air bubbles as possible.

A note regarding scent - As you are creating your recipe, be sure to account for the scent that the shreds will bring to the soap - even if only at 25%. This batch of pumpkin soap had a really spicy, cinnamon, scent. So to complement that, I used From Nature With Love's Vanilla Sandalwood. A little bit of pumpkin spice, and a little bit of vanilla, rounded out by the sandalwood. Absolutely yummy.
