Finish Rolling and Enjoy

Finished Candle

David Fisher
Finish rolling the wax sheets. Press the small end corners down against the base firmly to keep them well attached. Trim the wick to about 1/2".

That's it. Enjoy the wonderful beeswax candle.

Tips:

  • The candle will burn better and longer if you make sure that the roll is nice and tight - without warping the wax.
  • You can make this candle with three or even four sheets of wax for more of a tapered pillar-type candle.
  • If the base of the candle is uneven, or if you're having problems with the candle unrolling, try melting the base a little in your melt pot or a frying pan with a piece of aluminum foil in it.
