Once the candles are completely cool, gently pull the mold pieces apart. If the candle sticks a bit, just squeeze a bit on the sides of the mold. That's usually enough to release it.

Place the candles in a large bowl of water...perhaps a birdbath...hot tub...fish pond...and enjoy!
