Chunk Candles - whether votives, pillars, or containers - are fun and easy to make. Your imagination can run wild with different colors, overpours, layerings, addtives and more. This project takes the traditional chunks and stretches them a bit...or rather, lengthens them a bit. Instead of a jumble of chunks, these pillars and votive candles use vertical rods of wax arranged in an orderly fashion. It's a slightly different look that can have many variations - just like small chunks.

For this project, you'll use the same ingredients you used in the Chunk Votive Candles project.

To make them, you'll need:

  1. Vertical Chunk Candles - Easy Chunk Candle Variation
  2. Cut the Vertical Chunks
  3. Place the Rods into the molds
  4. Pour the Overpour
  5. Smooth the sides with a heat gun
  6. Let the candles cool and enjoy
