Setting the Wicks

David Fisher
When the wax is melted and blended, it's time to set the wicks. The size of your candle shells will determine the size of the wicks needed. For the small votive-size shells, I'm using a standard votive candle wick. For the bigger ones, I'm using one suitable for a larger container candle like an ECO-10.

Pour a tiny bit (tablespoon or so) of the melted wax into the bottom of the candle shell. Place the wick in the center of the shell. Use a chopstick to adjust/center the wick.

Let the bit of wax cool and harden.
