Unmold and Enjoy

Halloween Soaps

Halloween Soaps

David Fisher
When the soaps are completely cool, you can unmold them and see your wonderful handiwork. You may need to use a small knife to trim or sculpt the soaps further.

The soaps will come out easiest of plastic and rubber molds. You may need to put metal molds (like the muffin pan mold I used) into the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes to help get the soaps out. Once chilled, the soaps should fall out if you hit the edge of the mold on the counter. If all else fails and the soaps are still sticking, you can run the mold (not the open side) under hot water until the soaps fall out. But only do this as a last resort, as it's easy to mar the soaps this way.

That's it! Boo! You're done! Try using different color combinations in the same mold (eg. red eyes instead of yellow eyes, blue ghosts instead of white.) As I said earlier, you are only limited by your own creativity. Have fun. Happy Halloween.
