Christmas Votive Candle Holders

Dress up your windows and tabletops with this quick, fun and easy votive holder project.

It's based on my Stained Glass Votive Holder project. Same basic idea...just use holiday themed paper for the pieces! Tissue paper works the best, though light-weight wrapping paper or other paper decorations work well too.

Follow the directions in the Stained Glass Votive Holder project:

• Cut out the squares of paper
• Brush the glue-water mixture onto the glass votive holder
• Layer the paper pieces onto the holder
• Coat it with another final coat of glue-water
• Let it dry.

For even more interest, sprinkle a little glitter, add some artificial berries, stars, spangles or what-have-you.

That's it! Drop in a votive candle and you're done.
