Question: How much fragrance can I use in gel wax?
Answer: Penreco's VersaGel is available in three versions called "Grades":
- CLP grade (Low Density) (Buy Direct) will hold up to about 3% fragrance oil. (.5 oz. per pound)
- CMP grade (Medium Density) (Buy Direct) will hold up to about 5% fragrance oil (.8 oz. per pound)
- With CHP grade (High Density) (Buy Direct), the specs say up to 5% (.8 oz. per pound), but I've used 6% (1 oz. per pound) with good results.
