Now...I have had some people express concern over having a paper-wrapped candle jar. When burned properly, I have never had any problems with these candles. I've even tried to get them to scorch or burn by purposely putting a flame directly against the inside of the glass. All that did was crack the candle container.
But...that doesn't mean you should be careless with these candles. As with any burning candle, you must follow basic candle burning procedures. These should not be left unattended, and should be checked periodically to make sure they are burning properly. If the wick drifts too close to the side of the jar, either move it back to the center, or stop burning the candle.
