Cool the Candle and Use as any Hurricane Shell

Once the photo has been affixed, just follow the rest of the Basic Hurricane Candle instructions to finish.

Note: Since you have embedded a flammable material into the side of your candle shell, you have to exercise extra care to make sure that the hurricane shell doesn't melt. I recommend two precautions:

  1. Burn the votive inside a glass votive holder, not just alone in the shell
  2. Don't leave the shell to burn for hours and hours
And of course, as with any burning candle, never leave it unattended!
