How to Make a Hurricane Candle Shell

Put a piece of foil into a cookie sheet or frying pan, and warm the pan over a low heat. Turn the shell upside down and gently touch it to the hot foil, being careful to keep it level. This will melt the uneven edges of the shell and give you a nice even, level top.
