Materials for Mitre Box Mold

Here is what you will need:

Handsaw (Many mitre boxes come with a mitre box saw)
10 Screws- One inch long or 1 1/8 inch long (depending on how deep you sink the screws)
Screwdriver
Thin wood strips- 1/2 inch by 4 inch smooth poplar strips that you can purchase at a home center store. Buy enough length so that you have twice the length of your miter box plus 8 inches.
1X2 inch wood strips- Buy enough so that you have twice the length of your miter box plus 8 inches.
A wooden mitre box
Electric Drill-both to drill pilot holes and to set the screws
