Take a small piece of wick and insert it into the hole. I like to leave about 1/4" out of the bottom, fold it over, and press it into the bottom to keep it in place. Trim the top wick to about 1/4".

Yes...I know...I know...the wick in the red leaf at the top is not centered well. It ended up burning lopsided too.
