Let the wax cool to about 180 degrees. Add in your colorant and fragrance oil.

A note about chunks and fragrance oil.
If you know that you're going to use all of the chunks you're making in one project - with one type of fragrance oil, there's no problem adding fragrance to the chunks. But many people like to make chunks "ahead of time" and use them on many different projects, with different fragrance oils. (eg. red chunks could be used on Christmas chunk votives, and then the same chunks could be used for Valentines pillars and Spring Multi-Color votives - each one with a different fragrance.) I did know one candle maker who would scent her chunks with one basic fragrance and then use a complimentary fragrance in the over pour - cherry scented chunks with chocolate overpour, rose overpour, warm vanilla sugar overpour - you get the picture.

If you're not going to add fragrance to the chunks, you'll just need to add a little more fragrance to the overpour.
