Cocoa Butter Massage Bars

Saturday January 5, 2008
Cocoa Butter Massage BarsI know it seems that Christmas is barely over...and to look at a Valentine's soap mold is crazy. But Valentine's Day is just over a month away.
It's also the season for dry skin...so what a better combination than these? They're a little bit lotion, a little bit massage oil - closely related to the candle - but in a class all by theirself...the massage bar. With ingredients you probably already have on your shelf if you're a candle and soap maker, you can make these decadently easy massage bars. And though technically not a candle or a soap - it's so closely related that I've created a whole new category on the site -- Bath & Body -- that has information on Bath Fizzies, Bath Salts and more.

Hi David,

I e-mailed you about a month ago concerning salt soap. You gave me great information, but unfortunately I misplaced it. I can’t remember if the amount of salt should equal the total amount of the base oils, or if it should just equal the amount of coconut oil. You recommended 80 % coconut oil.

I appreciate your time, and I promise I will copy the information this time! Thanks,
Mary Robida
