Using Vanilla (and vanilla containing) Fragrances in Soap

I taught a beginning soap making class at the Dallas Arboretum this past Saturday - very fun! The class took a vote between "Pumpkin Spice" and "Christmas Melody" for the fragrance oil we'd use on our batch. It was close, but Pumpkin Spice won out. The batch came out great - and smelled even better! I didn't suspect that the blend had a lot of vanilla in it...until the day after I sliced it!
