Lovely Natural Colorants

Monday September 5, 2005
Many people, for many reasons, prefer to use natural colorants in their soap. Though you don't have quite the vibrant possibilities that you do with synthetic colorants, natural colors can be lovely. In my web surfing, I came across this picture of some soap using natural colorants that I just had to pass on. These soaps, made by Kelly Bloom at Bloom Works Soap Company use (from bottom to top) red clay, pink clay, turmeric, and safflower. Great stuff! If you want to try out some natural colorants in your soap, check out Using Natural Colorants in Soap. Enjoy.
