I found this article today about two brothers in Albuquerque who make 60,000 bars of soap a year. Like most of us, one of them started by just trying it out after finding a soap making book. His curiosity turned into a full time business for both him and his brother. Read the Article.
One thing he says in the article, though is "Creating and selling suds is no easy task. I don't see how anybody does it who is married and has kids."
(Grin) My intuition is that many of us soapmakers are married with children though. So how do we do it? How do we balance home life with soap (and/or candle) life?
