Summer Conferences
Saturday May 21, 2005
Two great soap and candle making conferences are gearing up.
The first, on June 1st, is the First Annual Midwest Soap & Candle Bee in Fort Wayne, IN. Their theme is Fresh Ideas, Fresh Outlook -- and will focus on innovations within the soap, candle and personal product industries. In addition, they'll be sharing recipes for fragrance blends, new products, and profitable businesses.
The second one, from July 8-10th, is the popular Texas Soapmakers Association Annual Conference in Plano (Dallas), TX. They will feature speakers, vendors, shopping, a swap, and more - with events designed for soap makers from beginner to professional. (There are lots of candle makers among the attendees, and there is even a candle demo planned.)
If you're in the midwest or southwest, check these two great conferences out. Not only are they about the best time a candle or soap maker can have in a weekend, but there are great local attractions in Dallas and Fort Wayne.
