It began with an email from a stranger that had an idea of how to transform a village of women's lives - through making soap.
Marla Bosworth of Back Porch Soap Company and Amanda Griffin of Lovin' Soap traveled to Haiti to teach a wonderful group of women how to make soap. Their story shows that no matter how rich or poor, there is something just plain joyful in making soap - and that soap making, in the hands of two innovative teachers and a group of hope-filled women, can indeed change lives.
