I know some people make fun of the notion that "it's the thought that counts" - but there is truth in it. Hi David, i totally agree with what you write. Not only are handmade gifts such as candles fun to do but they are personal and so easy to create. You don’t have to make anything special for a gift because of the thought and work gone in to it. I love to receive anything homemade it’s feels more touching.
