Custom Devotional Candles as Holiday Decorations and Gifts

I'm sure it comes as no surprise, but I have always been the type to make handmade things for Christmas gifts. One of my favorite things to do in recent years has been to create custom devotional or prayer candles for people. These candles, made from plain prayer candles available at the grocery store, add a custom photo, poem, lyric or image that is inspired by the person I am giving it to. Sometimes they are family photos, sometimes a photo of something that happened that year with my friend or loved one.
