Making and Burning Candles Safely

I am firm believer that making candles is just half of the process of enjoying candles. While I'm guilty of it more than I admit to, I hate to see wonderful candles just sitting in a drawer or on a shelf. The other half of the joy of making candles is burning them. But both must be done safely. Let's start the new year off with some firm resolutions to do both - make candles...and burn them safely. David, great articles on a very important subject. When I first started making my it was very tempting to just go with whatever pretty jar I found. And there are tons of them. It’s important — especially if you sell your candles — that you realize that unsuspecting families will be using your candles and expecting a safe product. At the end of the day, it is better to just be safe rather than sorry.
