How Soap Cleans

Monday July 7, 2008
Soap ExperimentJust how does soap clean? How does it do what it does? What is it that those virgins on the side of Mount Sapo discovered thousands of years ago? I first did this as a "kid's soap experiment," but I'm betting that a bunch of you soap makers are going to try it - kids or not - just to see how it works. That's fine, it's a great explanation of just how soap cleans. And if your kids DO try it, I'll bet they appreciate your soap making just a little bit more!

I can’t wait to show this to my niece and nephew. They are both interested in how things work.
