My Autumn Fragrance Oil Picks
Friday October 27, 2006
There's a chill in the air and the leaves are starting to fall from the trees. It's my favorite time of the year...and these are some of my favorite "Autumn" themed Candle and Soap Making Fragrance Oils. Not all of them are pumpkin pie and pine trees...some are more complex...but still make me think of Autumn. Try them out in your candles and soaps this Autumn. You may find you like them all year long.

I just wanted to thank you for this particular post. I came across this last fall just at a moment when I was getting involved in candle making and was intrigued by some of the scents you posted – though I don’t mind pumpkin pie or pine tree, I tend to like things that are a little more unusual. I actually used a lot of these to make Christmas gifts and had great results. Again, I really wanted to show off my own personal sense of style, and so I tried to use fragrances that would surprise people but in pleasant ways. Lots of people give candles to people at work and such, but they always seem so impersonal, as though you put no thought into it. These, however, seemed like designer gifts, but then once conversation started, became very significant for the recipients. The Bourbon Toasted Pecan and Enchanted Forrest seemed particularly popular.
